Business Controller (FIN)

We are now looking to reinforce our team at our company headquarters in Espoo, Finland, and we hope you will be the Business Controller who sets on track and runs the financial activities of our four country units (Finland, Sweden, Germany and Swizerland).

What to expect from this position?

You will be in charge of a whole spectrum of financial tasks varying from management accounting to financial accounting. This position consists of financial routines, management reporting activities, group reporting and forecasting. You will work in co-operation with outsourced accounting companies coordinating and controlling their work in all the four countries. Other administrational tasks such as insurances and HR may also be included to your work dependent on your experience and your interest. This is a new position, so we are looking first and foremost for the best fit for our team.

The qualifications we are looking for in a candidate

  • Master´s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualifications) in Business Economics / Finance & Accounting
  • Your mother tongue is either Finnish or German and you are fluent in business English, other language skills are considered an advantage
  • You enjoy working with numbers
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial role
  • You understand how company financials affect the daily operational activities, and you are willing to develop the activities to support the profitable growth of the company
  • You are familiar with group reporting and regulatory requirements
  • You are eager to learn new things and tackle new challenges as they come along
  • You pay attention to details and you are comfortable with routine work
