We make sense of our customers’ RFID data – you ensure our tailormade RFID systems make sense

Turck Vilant Systems delivers RFID Systems consisting of embedded applications and application server as well as customer specific RFID systems. Our algorithms make sense of the masses of RFID data available and select the relevant data for further integration to the customer business applications.


What to expect from this position

Turck Vilant applications are used by hundreds of professional users and you will be key in ensuring that the tailormade applications work correctly with their specific business logic needs. You will work with the full scale of our RFID products: Turck Vilant Client and Turck Vilant Engine, our applications at the heart of RFID data collection, as well as our Server products, which both command and monitor the RFID equipment as well as consolidate the collected data and integrate further to our customer systems.

Your daily routine will consist of building up environments in which to test a specific customer system, testing the different dedicated customer applications and the data flow between the Turck Vilant applications and that between Turck Vilant applications and customer Business Application.

What we expect from you?

All we really need from you is knowledge on JSON, TCP/IP and SQL, some software testing experience, fluency in business English and an eagerness to learn new things every day.

What makes you even more ideal to our environment is if you

  • have a technical degree for example in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • have experience in testing and understand test automation (for example Robot or Selenium), test processes and test methodologies
  • have experience of building and maintaining test environments

Furthermore, programming experience (especially in Python) and fluency in Finnish or German will be considered an advantage.
