RFID Tunnel
Turck Vilant’s RFID tunnel registers every item flowing through it—by conveyor or by hand—and updates your systems in real time.
RFID Tunnels: Uninterrupted Flow, Unmatched Accuracy
RFID streamlines inventory management across production lines, warehouses, and logistics hubs. Designed for high-volume tracking, the RFID Tunnel from Turck Vilant Systems automatically registers all items that flow through it—whether moved on a conveyor or manually pushed through—without detecting anything outside its defined space.
As shipments pass through the tunnel, RFID tags are read instantly and without manual scanning, even when hundreds of items are involved. This reduces errors, speeds up handling, and improves process efficiency.
Fixed in place, the RFID Tunnel delivers highly accurate reads in automated environments. When integrated with ERP, WMS, or MES systems, it provides real-time visibility into goods movement and supports data-driven supply chain decisions.
Turck Vilant RFID Tunnel
Our dedicated tunnel application runs either directly on the RFID reader (Engine or Node) or on an industrial Panel PC (Client) mounted beside the tunnel—depending on the required level of automation and integration. All configurations are designed to accurately register items as they pass through the tunnel, filter relevant tag data, and ensure inventory and shipment records remain precise and up to date.
The optimal setup is selected according to the customer’s process needs, whether for conveyor-based automation or manual flows. The same software platform flexibly supports different setups and can be integrated alongside other tracking solutions, such as RFID gates or RTLS locators. Data collected by the Turck Vilant Client, Engine, and Node applications is forwarded to the Turck Vilant Server for processing or can be directly integrated with customer systems like WMS or ERP.

Turck Vilant Systems Track & Trace Tunnels
- Includes Turck Vilant Client or Engine/Node Applications, RFID reader, antennas, cabling, lights and accessories — tailored to the specific tunnel use case.
- Deployed on a panel PC or RFID reader, the system uses algorithms to track item flow.
- Forwards data to Turck Vilant Server or directly to the customer’s WMS/ERP system.
- Logs all RFID events and documents history.
How we implement RFID in Tunnels
We deploy RFID Tunnels on conveyor lines and packing stations to automatically capture every tagged item as it moves through the tunnel. Shielded antennas, integrated readers, and intelligent algorithms work in harmony to stream verified read events straight into your business systems. Click the plus signs to explore more.
