1 Website Privacy Policy

Turck Vilant Systems (FI-17405469), a privately owned company with its registered head office in Espoo, Finland own and operate website: and we respect your privacy on this website. Any information you leave on our website is voluntary and you may request us to remove your personal data from our system at any time. The main purpose for us to collect data on you on our website is to offer better customer service, and for instance for our Sales or Support team to contact you for further RFID consultancy. Additionally, we collect data for recruitment purposes. Anonymous data about your site visit is collected for site improvements.

2 What information do we collect and why?

Technical information

When you visit our website, we may collect anonymous information about you related to how you use our website and how you found us. This information may include things like IP address, the browser you are using, the operating system of your computer or mobile device and the pages you visit as well as your browsing history. These data we collect for our internal website improvement purposes as well as ensuring relevant content is being suggested for you. These data anonymous and they are not connected to any personal details. Furthermore, from visitors who leave comments or fill in forms we collect IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. These data are not combined with any personal data nor do we use them for anything but spam detection and technical website improvements.

Forms with personal data capture (support and commercial uses)

Any personal information we collect from you is such that you leave voluntarily on our website. When you fill in a contact form, register for an event or wish to download our resources we may ask you to leave us your name, company, phone number and email address. You leave these data with the understanding that our Sales and Support teams may use to process your request. You may at any point require us to remove all your personal data from our system (see section 4).

Forms with personal data capture and media upload (recruitment purposes)

Any personal information we collect from you is such that you leave voluntarily on our website. When you submit a job application, we ask you to enter personal data related to the position you are applying to. Each job opening has a bespoke form for job applicants to fill in, and the questions asked in these forms are closely related to the offered job. In all cases we collect personal data at least in the form of name, telephone number, email address, home address, date of birth, qualifications, employment history and skills. If you choose to apply for the job in question, you understand that Turck Vilant Systems will need these data to consider your suitability for the job in question. These data are never given to third parties, and they are only used for Turck Vilant Systems internal needs.

When not otherwise requested, the job applicant data is stored in the Turck Vilant Systems database for no longer than 18 months.

Other sources for data related to recruitment

Turck Vilant Systems uses third party channels, such as Linked IN Jobs, to advertise, and sometimes to gather job applications. When you apply for a position with Turck Vilant Systems, you understand that your data will be stored in the Turck Vilant Systems HR section of Turck Vilant Systems Company Server. In case you contact Turck Vilant Systems by phone or email, records of these data may also be kept on our Company server (never on the webserver, nor the website database).

Your information is used for one or several of the following purposes at Turck Vilant Systems, but never by third parties without your consent.
