Turck announces new RFID Gate and RFID Tunnel

The RFID tunnel and RFID gate complete Turck UHF RFID portfolio ensuring wide support to the production and intralogistics spaces.

The Turck Vilant Systems parent company, Turck, announces an extension to its UHF RFID portfolio by introducing two new products to complement its offering for the intralogistics segment.

With the RFID gate and the tunnel, Turck is further expanding its range of solutions: From the pure product (RFID reader) to out-of-the-box bundles such as RFID gate and tunnel to complete turn-key solutions, including system integration via Turck Vilant Systems.

UHF RFID Gates as a Complete Package

Turck has now launched complete solutions for setting up RFID gates for identification tasks in logistics and intralogistics processes, such as for the reliable recording of incoming and outgoing goods. All components, including the appropriate middleware and software, are coordinated so the user can install and commission the gates without further programming. In addition to the software, the complete package consists of a Q180 UHF reader with four antennas, four coaxial cables, an Ethernet cable, and the traverse and the side panels for mounting the reader and antennas.

The Q180 UHF reader is equipped with a pre-installed software interface with standardized RFID functions and REST API. This complete package saves users and system integrators expensive consulting and programming services. As the components are perfectly matched, users minimize the risk of a bad investment and increase the solution’s recording reliability. Standardized interfaces and no-program installation also make it easier to schedule the commissioning of the identification points.

Guaranteed compatibility: All components of the UHF RFID gates are perfectly matched

RFID Tunnel Solution for Intralogistics

Turck’s new RFID tunnel offers a ready-to-use, flexible detection solution for automating intralogistics processes. The no-code technology and a standardized interface simplify integration into existing systems and thus accelerate data acquisition and process integration. The RFID tunnel is designed for a wide range of applications in the flow of goods on conveyor belt applications. It is ideal for incoming and outgoing inspections and bulk detection in production and warehouse logistics. The multi-tag function and the closed housing ensure reliable detection, even with large quantities of goods.

The all-in-one solution consists of a UHF reader with four powerful antennas, matching coaxial cables and a closed tunnel housing with all brackets and screws for quick installation. The prefabricated mechanical structure and the standardized set with just one part number enable error-free and fast commissioning.

Turck’s UHF RFID Tunnel: ready for immediate use for precise multitag detection and seamless integration in intralogistics processes
